Kia ora e hoa,

The silly season is well and truly underway and to finish off the year we want to celebrate some successful projects and give you the chance to win a bottle of something to get the party started.

First things first…

If you forward this newsletter to three friends we will put you into the draw to win a bottle of Laphroig single malt whiskey. Simple.

DigitalNZ

The National Library of New Zealand wants to make it easier to discover, share and use New Zealand content. DigitalNZ will test new ways to create digital content, collect and share existing digital content; and build smart, freely available, search and discovery tools. It’s a huge vision and Boost is excited a part of it. For the past three months we have been working with DigitalNZ on the interaction and visual design of the site.

Our Problem

The new Problem Gambling TV ads are getting noticed – and to reflect a great TV ad campaign you need a great website. Boost has been working with the Health Sponsorship Council to that end. We designed and developed the new ourproblem.org.nz site to complement the new Problem Gambling TV campaign.

Feeding our Futures

Feeding our Futures is a programme developed by the Health Sponsorship Council – the programme is about helping parents and caregivers of school age kids make good choices in eating and eating habits. The Feeding our Futures site has quick, low-cost food ideas, tips and information about healthy eating for families. Boost has been working with HSC's Feeding our Futures team to create a friendly and approachable website designed to help families find the information they need to make good food choices.

Software for Learning

The Software for Learning site is one of the most popular sites on Te Kete Ipurangi (the Ministry of Education’s online education portal). The site informs and supports teachers to selecting and integrating software as part of a rich learning environment. It has lists of quality software recommended by New Zealand teachers for use in schools and early childhood programmes including social software, freeware and non-freeware. Boost has been working with Sarah Jones, Senior Advisor e-Learning to develop a new design for Software for Learning.
