The PHARMAC Seminar Series is now heading into its third year and we are really excited to present the schedule for 2008. This year's schedule includes a number of great new topics as well as repeats of some of the more popular seminars from 2007.

The first two seminars this year have been very popular so we will be looking to repeat these later in the year. Other seminars are also filling quickly, so register now to confirm your place!

The Seminar Series is accredited by the RNZCGPs as a CME provider and CME is credited at one point per hour. Attendance at the seminar also contributes towards continuing professional development for nurses, midwives and pharmacists.

Chris Budgen has been a Director of the Seminar Series since March 2006. Chris is the current President of the Pharmaceutical Society of New Zealand.

This year Chris will be running the Medicines Adherence seminar in February. Due to the level of interest in this seminar we are hoping to run a repeat in April or May - date to be confirmed.

Chris will also be running a seminar in October updating Medicines Management.

These seminars are designed to reflect current developments in pharmacy services around the country.
