The passing of Bob McKee

LIANZA was saddened to hear of the passing of CILIP Chief Executive, Bob McKee. A small tribute has been written.

LIANZA Childrens Book Awards

The Library & Information Association of New Zealand Aotearoa launched the start of Library Week at Wellington’s Caffe L’affare on Monday 16th August with the winners announced for the 2010 LIANZA Children’s Book Awards.

Library Week Success!

Library Week went brilliantly this year and we have had some extremely positive feedback from the library community. Many of you supported the event through the purchase of T-Shirts and badges and via encouraging kids, and each other, to get involved.
