Kia ora e hoa,

We've had a busy end to winter, welcoming a posse of new clients and completing some great projects. The Boost portfolio is bulging with new websites and CD-ROMs in the areas of e-commerce, education, branding, web applications, blogs, content management systems and online communities . Here's a spring update about our goings-on - before the year gets away on us completely!

Two finalists in the 2007 TUANZ Awards

For the fifth year running Boost are finalists in the TUANZ Business Internet Awards. This time we have two finalists in the Education category

SpellRight Endings! and Te Tuhi ā-Hiko are two great projects that we've been involved with over the last year. We worked with NZCER to deliver their proven methodology to students working on essential spelling with an exciting interactive investigative environment, and with Learning Media and a number of subject experts to produce the first interactive writing tool designed for Maori medium students and teachers.

Wish us luck!

Interactive Xmas Cards

After a Friday night incident involving mistletoe and a fruitcake, we came up with a suitably festive idea to share with our clients - Interactive Xmas Cards!

Boost creates a wide range of corporate and educational interactive animations through the year, and we thought that our experience could be put to other uses. Call us, or come and see us, to hear about what we can do to produce a festive and expressive interactive card to capture the imagination and tickle the merry-bones of your audience.

Tahuti mai!

We'd like to introduce and welcome Stacey Walker to the Boost team. Stacey (Ngāi Tahu) has been working for us casually while finishing her degree in Computer Science, and now comes to join us as a junior programmer.

Having worked as a Tutor, Web Administrator, Systems Engineer and Tester for a number of organisations, Stacey brings a solid understanding of software engineering and development to Boost's technical offering.

Naku iti nei,
The Boost team :-)
