I very recently spent a week in Perth Western Australia attending back to back ALIA conferences - the National Library and Information Technicians Conference: Back 2 Basics and NLS5, the New Librarians Symposium: Metamorphosis. Both biennial conferences.

Crown Records Management Scholarship
We are delighted to announce this year’s winners of the Crown Records Management Scholarship. Congratulations to Pamela McKirdy from Wellington East Girls’ College and Amanda-Jane McFadden from Tauranga City Libraries.
The Crown Records Management scholarship is intended as a professional development opportunity for new professionals who have not attended a LIANZA conference before and provides each of the winners with a full conference registration, a conference dinner ticket and money towards conference travel and accommodation.
We trust Pamela and Amanda-Jane will enjoy their first LIANZA Conference experience.
Pamela and Amanda-Jane will each write an article about their conference experience for Library Life in February 2012.
