Winter has definitely arrived. Gloves and scarves are emerging from the bottom drawer, and Boost has been working hard over the past six months to bring you some lovely websites and web applications to enjoy.

You may remember in our last newsletter that we promised a delicious bottle of whisky to the winner of our pass-it-on competition. The whisky went out to Brett, congratulations! 

SonarHQ - create your own survey site

Last year, Boost developed SonarHQ - a web application for creating surveys and managing panels of participants. This year, we’ve taken it to the next level. SonarHQ is now available on a pay-as-you-use basis.

It's cheaper and easier to use this incredibly intelligent package. SonarHQ also has more features, with greater flexibility to meet your needs. Our first 100 users are now successfully writing and conducting their own surveys online.

DigitalNZ - make it digital

The National Library is investigating new ways to open up access to New Zealand’s digital content. We absolutely love being part of such an important project.

The latest addition to the DigitalNZ website is Make It Digital. Make It Digital provides support for digitisation and invites New Zealanders to submit and vote on ideas for content that should be digitised. Have your say!

Did you know that chinchillas clean themselves in dust baths? Tails pet shop came to us with the idea of taking their extensive product line and expertise in animal care onto the web. Sarah Jones - come on down!

We are delighted to welcome Sarah Jones, previously with the Ministry of Education and Learning Media Limited. An experienced project manager, educational resource developer and expert copy-writer, we will put Sarah to work on sharing her vast knowledge of e-learning and educational technology with our clients.

We know that she has immense patience and an attraction to the unusual - she’s married to Boost’s head honcho, Nathan.

Thanks to our clients for these great projects. Time to put on another jumper and get back to work!
