| Seminar Series Update |
We are nearing the end of another highly successful year with only a couple more seminars to run in 2008. How the time flies! Many thanks to all of those who have attended seminars this year - we hope you have enjoyed them.
We have had to close registrations for several of the seminars later this year due to their popularity - "Medicines in Diabetes" and "CVD Risk Update" - but we still have some places available at one seminar - see details below.

Medicines Management Update
Tuesday 14 October 2008
The seminar will be facilitated by Chris Budgen - President of the Pharmaceutical Society of New Zealand and Director of the PHARMAC Seminar Series.
The safe and effective use of medicines is a principle goal for primary health care providers. The importance of this has been recognised in the Primary Health Care Strategy and more recently in the National Medicines Strategy.
This seminar covers the National Framework of pharmacy medicine management services and deals with practical aspects and case studies from such services.
We have some spaces still available at this seminar so if you would like to attend please register here as soon as possible.

| PHARMAC Seminar Series 2009 |
The PHARMAC Seminar Series will be returning in 2009.
The Directors of the Seminar Series will be meeting later this year to discuss the topics for next year's seminars. We will publish the agenda as we confirm dates and venues which will hopefully be late 2008 or early 2009. Once we have confirmed the bulk of the seminars we will also send out another update.
Due to the popularity of the series we have unfortunately been having to turn many people away from seminars this year. We envisage the seminars being just as, if not more, popular next year, so make sure that you register early to secure your place.
