Kia ora e hoa,

Hope you are having a great year. We are busier than ever and have been working on some fantastic projects.

We have more exciting projects on the way and look forward to sharing the results with you soon.

TUANZ Education Award

We had an exciting end to a busy year when Te Tuhi ā-Hiko won the Education category of the 2007 TUANZ Business Internet Awards.

Te Tuhi ā-Hiko is the first interactive writing tool designed for Maori medium students and teachers, and was produced in collaboration with Learning Media and a number of subject experts. The award win marked the end of a long and satisfying project that received great feedback from the TUANZ judges as well as Kura Kaupapa staff and students.

Literacy Learning Progressions

Following last years release of the new School Curriculum, we worked with Learning Media to develop an elegant and professional website to communicate the draft literacy learning progressions to teachers and other educators.

The draft progressions describe the knowledge and skills students need in order to meet the reading and writing demands of the New Zealand Curriculum.

AIDE

Design brothers Luke and Seth Kelly came to us with AIDE - their revolutionary range of first aid products. They asked Boost to create a design and online store that would provide their international customers and local retail partners with quick and easy access to purchase and ordering information.

Boost created a clean, simple design and implemented a robust E-commerce solution to meet AIDE's requirements. Working with well-designed products is always a joy and AIDE was no exception! Visit the 'store locator' to find your local stockist.

Construction Zone

We love creating youthful, engaging and educational websites and the BCITO came to us with a great brief: develop a site that informs students, parents and teachers about apprenticeships and careers in the building and construction industry, and how to prepare for training or work experience.

Boost created an informal and straight-forward design that was an immediate success with users. The Construction Zone site is deceptively large and contains a compelling range of information including FAQ's, case-studies and links to teacher resources.

My Future Party

We have just finished work on a fantastic new project with Lift education. My Future party is an interactive designed to get students thinking about the future.

Created for New Zealand Post, My Future Party enables students to learn and practice Te reo Māori as well as New Zealand Sign Language making the resource on of New Zealand's first to support learning in New Zealand's three official languages.
